Azure earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Family Studies from Texas Tech University and a Master of Social Work degree with an emphasis on Children and Families from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has studied, worked, and trained in domestic violence, military experiences, and trauma recovery. Ms. Hargis is a member of the NASW and the AFCC. Azure has specific training in EMDR therapy, certified in Personality Disorders, on the Denton County court approved list of child custody evaluators since 2018, and an approved provider for Denton County Veterans Court since 2019. She tailors each session to each individual client based on presenting issues and concerns.
